The Astrologer
Jyotish Deepak Sharma
A life devoted to the ancient science of Vedic astrology — in service of those who seek clarity, direction, and the wisdom of the stars.
A Journey Into Jyotish
Jyotish Deepak Sharma's encounter with Vedic astrology began not as a career choice but as a calling. Growing up in a household where the rhythms of life were observed through the lens of the Panchanga — the Vedic almanac — he absorbed the language of the planets long before he formally studied them.
His formal training began under the guidance of a lineage of Jyotishis rooted in the Parashari tradition — the most comprehensive and authoritative school of Vedic astrology, codified by the sage Parashara in the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. Over two decades of study, practice, and thousands of consultations, he has developed a reading style that is both rigorously classical and deeply compassionate.
He does not believe in fatalism. The Kundali, in his view, is not a sentence — it is a map. And like any map, it is most useful when read by someone who knows the terrain. His role is to help each seeker understand the terrain of their own life, so they can navigate it with greater wisdom and grace.
Philosophy & Approach
Classical Rigour
Every reading is grounded in the classical texts of Vedic astrology — Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Jataka Parijata, and Phaladeepika — not modern interpretations or Western hybridisations.
Compassionate Delivery
Difficult chart combinations are communicated with care and context. The goal is never to frighten but to illuminate — and to offer a path forward through every challenge.
Remedial Precision
Remedies are prescribed only when genuinely needed, and always tailored to the individual's chart, Dasha period, and practical circumstances. There are no one-size-fits-all prescriptions.
Confidentiality
Every consultation is held in strict confidence. The personal details shared in a reading — about health, relationships, finances, and family — are treated with the utmost discretion.
